KidneyA slender, smooth or hairy undershrub Height: Grows to a height of 1-2 meters Leaves: Leaves in distant pairs, narrowed into the stalk, ovate, 5 to 10 centimeters long, pointed at both ends, coarsely toothed at the margins. Flowers: Borne in very lax racemes; two-lipped flowers with protruding stamens, that give the flower its characteristic cat's whiskers appearance.
