Skin

A small tree Height: 3 to 5 meters in height Leaves: Leaves are hairy when young, oblong, 8 to 15 centimeters long, with a petiole 1 to 1.5 centimeters long. Flowers: About 2.5 centimeters long, pendulous, hairy, three-angled, light green to yellow. Fruits: Large, somewhat heart-shaped, 6 to 9 centimeters long, the outside marked with knobby polygonal tubercles; when ripe, the fruit is light yellowish-green.

Medicinal Uses & Benefits

Panuhot (flatulence); Kabuhi/Kuhion (combination of severe, headache, vomiting). Preparation: Wash and boil 1/2 kilo of atis roots in a liter of water for 15 minutes.. Part used: Roots | Abdominal distention. Preparation: Heat 3-5 matured leaves of atis for 1-2 minutes.. Part used: Leaves | Kabuhi/Kuhion (combination of severe, headache, vomiting). Preparation: Get the whole roots and wash it. Boil the chopped roots in a liter of water for 20-30 minutes.. Part used: Roots | Bughat (a little more than relapse); Kabuhi (combination of severe, headache, vomiting); Panuhot (flatulence). Preparation: Boil enough amount of atis leaves in a liter of water.. Part used: Leaves
