Erect, much branched shrub or small tree Height: 3 - 8 m Leaves: Digitate leaves that may consist of 3 or 5 leaflets of which the central leaflets are oblong to narrowly elliptic while the side leaflets are entire to dentate, apex acuminate, and base cuneate (1) Flowers: White or purple to blue-violate flowers borne on dense side clusters (1) Fruits: Succulent drupe (3), ellipsoidal, truncated apex, glabrous, smooth (1), black when ripe.
