fast-growing, perennial, deciduous, or semi-evergreen tree (1) Height: 35 m Leaves: spiral, simple, shiny, broadly obovate, round and obtuse tip, narrow-base leaves (1) that cluster at the end of the twigs (3) Flowers: Distinct male and female flower, both are 1 cm in diameter, white to greenish and no petals (2) Fruits: Cluster of 5-7 cm long and 3-5.5 cm wide drupe/fibrous fruits (2) that have tender skin, thin layer of subacid juicy, edible and sweet flesh (1), green when young, then yellow and red when ripe (2).
