SkinShrub or small tree Height: 3-10m Leaves: Broadly elliptic to oblong, with pointed or blunted tips; pinnately nerved and glabrous (1) Flowers: Bisexual, small, white, tubular flowers on globose heads (1,2) Fruits: Fleshy fruit, white or greenish-white, ovoid, with the odor of decaying cheese. Slightly wrinkly, semitranslucent and covered with small reddish-brown buds or pits containing four seeds (approximately 200 per fruit) (2). Pulp is juicy and bitter, light yellow or whitish, gelatinous when ripe (2)
