Herbaceous vine and climb with the aid of tendrils Height: up to 5 m (2) Leaves: Alternately arranged simple leaves that are palmately veined, with a lobed and crenate margin (1), and hairy (2). Flowers: Pale-yellow to orange-yellow unisexual, solitary flowers (1,2); male and female flowers are distinct from each other. Fruits: An ovate-elliptical to elongate-fusiform pepo with warty bumps and many seeds, and when ripe, it turns orange from green (1).
