Antisepticperennial aromatic shrub Height: 2-5 m Leaves: Oval or broadly lance-shaped, 1-12 cm in length, and 2-6 cm broad, rough surface and a yellow-green to green (1) Flowers: Flat-topped inflorescence may be yellow, orange, white, pale violet, pink, or red, flowers are small, multicoloured, in stalks, dense, flat-topped clusters to 4 cm across (1) Fruits: Round, fleshy, 2 seeded berry-like drupe, 5 mm wide, green turning purple then blue-black (like a blackberry), sweet tasting, fleshy ovoid.(1)
