Flowers: The flowers are white or pinkish, 4 to 6 centimeters diameter, 4 to 6 centimeters in diameter on terminal panicles. Fruits: Fruits are spiny capsules, ovoid or rounded, reddish brown, about 4 centimeters long, and covered with long, slender and soft spines.
Medicinal Uses & Benefits
Takigan (chills), Ubo (cough) at Sip-on (cold). Preparation: Collect 5 flowers, 7 leaves and wash thoroughly. Boil in 5 glasses of water for 10 minutes. Part used: Flowers and leaves | Nalipong (faint or dizzy). Preparation: Chop the roots and put these in a bottle. Add lana or coconut oil and let it soak.. Part used: Roots
