Tree Height: 16-30m Leaves: Compound, opposite, stalked, pinnate leaves with 1 terminal and 1-5 pairs of leaflets, blades lightly toothed, thinly leathery, egg-shaped-oblong to lance-shaped, long-tipped, drooping, hairy below, and 5.5-20 by 2.5-7 cm. Flowers: Bisexual flowers. Each shoot contains 2-10 flowers which are large, scented, white and nocturnal, dropping off at about sunrise, trumpet-shaped, 12-20cm long, and 3-13 cm wide at the mouth. Flowers consist of a long thin tube that expands near the opening and spread abruptly into 5 rounded lobes with frilly edges. Fruits: fruits are cylindrical pods, curved and flattened that hang in cluster, ripen green then brown, and 20-70 by 1.5-3 cm.
