Flowers: The small, hairy panicles emerging from the trunk and oldest branches bear small, fragrant, 5-petalled, yellowish-green or purple (1) or reddish-maroon flowers Fruits: Glossy, ellipsoidal, obovoid or nealy cylindrical, too sour, green, fleshy berries (1)
