Medicinal Uses & Benefits

Tonic or retrestorative and invigorating, used to take care of general debility or weakness to women after pregnancy (para bughat; himughat; lihi sa bata). Preparation: The sliced roots into 21 pieces are boiled in three glasses of water for 15 minutes; or instead of boiling, the sliced roots (21 pieces) are soaked in wine or vinegar; the leaves are also placed inside the baby’s hammock before it is used (21 ka inad-ad nga gamot pabukalan sulod sa 15 ka minutos; 21 ka inad-ad nga gamot ihulum sa bino o suka; dahon ihanig sa duyan sa bata).
