Crotalaria retusa Linn.

Skin

Perennial herb. Height: Grows up to 1 meter high. Leaves: Compound leaves are composed of 3 oblong to elliptic leaflets (elongated to oval) which are 3-6 cm long and 1.5-3 cm wide. The upper surface is hairless, while the lower surface is sparsely covered in silky hairs. Flowers: About 10-40 yellow flowers are arranged in a spike-like inflorescence known as a raceme. Fruits: The fruit is an elongated legume (3-4 cm long, 0.5-0.8 cm wide) which contains 20-30 seeds. Immature fruits are softly hairy, but become hairless at maturity.
