Shrub/Small Tree Height: Not provided Leaves: Leaves are simple and alternate long purple leaf stalks are attached near the centers of the leaf blades, star-shaped with sharply-toothed margins, shiny dark green or reddish, paler below and have odor when crushed. Flowers: Clustered in terminal spikes with creamy male flowers, lower position and reddish female flowers. Fruits: Spiny, greenish-reddish purple, and are has three-lobed capsule.
