Scrambling shrub. Height: Grow up 3 meters tall Leaves: Leaves usually alternate, sometimes clustered on dwarf lateral shoots, broadly elliptic, 1.5-4.5 cm, sparsely hairy or hairless; apex rounded, often notched; margins entire. Flowers: Flowers in clusters on short lateral branchlets, white or cream, c. 1.5 centimeters in diameter. Fruits: Fruit spherical, 6-15 millimeters in diameter, fleshy, purple-black when ripe. Stalk-like gynophore 12-15 millimeters long.
